Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa today urged the government to clarify reports that another Iranian vessel has entered Sri Lankan waters.  

Speaking in Parliament, Premadasa emphasized the need for an immediate government statement regarding the situation. 

He also called for the government to publicly address the recent attack on an Iranian Navy vessel in waters south of Sri Lanka, urging transparency and clarity on Sri Lanka’s stance on the incident.  

The opposition leader’s remarks highlight growing concerns over regional security and Sri Lanka’s diplomatic position amid the unfolding developments.
