The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment has stated that around 1,000 caregivers will be sent to Israel in 2026.

Eligible applicants must meet approved training, qualification, age, education and English language requirements set by the SLBFE.

Selected workers will receive five-year visas and a monthly salary exceeding Rs. 600,000.

The Bureau has stated that recruitment is conducted only through the SLBFE and Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority, warning the public against private agents.
