Uber and PickMe have urged the government to increase fuel quotas for their most active drivers and delivery partners amid ongoing fuel constraints.

The platforms noted their services help people access transport, food, and essential goods, while supporting tourism and tens of thousands of livelihoods.

In a joint statement, they welcomed the government’s recent quota increase but stated it is still insufficient to maintain operations at current demand levels.

They requested enhanced weekly fuel allocations to ensure continued service delivery, support livelihoods, and keep communities connected.
