The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Transformation Committee has submitted a draft new constitution proposing changes to improve governance, transparency and accountability.

The proposed reforms include reducing the number of clubs with voting rights at SLC elections to 39, revising voting systems and reducing the SLC board membership from 20 to 14.

Committee members stated that the new structure aims to strengthen administration, reduce political influence and ensure greater accountability in Sri Lanka Cricket.
