The government has allocated Rs. 500 million to provide 50 modern paddy dryers to eligible cooperative societies across the country.

The Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development stated that cooperative societies can apply by submitting project proposals, noting the initiative aims to improve paddy storage and support farmers with better prices.
