National Integrity Week commenced today (27), with programmes set to continue until the 31st, according to the Ministry of Public Administration Provincial Councils and Local Government Sri Lanka.

Held under the theme “A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka,” the initiative aims to promote transparency and accountability within the public service.

Key objectives include introducing and strengthening transparent systems and practices, fostering integrity as a national value, and encouraging a fair market environment. 

The programme also seeks to emphasise the importance of proper tax payments in supporting the country’s economic development.
