The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has informed the general public that despite claims made by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) and Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCLS) stating that the power cuts go against the rights of over 331,000 students sitting the Advanced Level exams, the scheduled power cuts will continue as previously planned.
Meanwhile last evening, the PUCSL informed the general public to complain, in writing, to the PUCSL if power cuts do occur during the day.
