President Anura Kumara Dissanayake paid floral tributes at the War Heroes' Monument in Hanoi, honouring those who sacrificed their lives for Vietnam.

He then visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum at the Presidential Palace, where he laid a wreath at the tomb of Vietnam’s first President and independence leader.

These observances were part of his ongoing state visit to Vietnam.

Minister Vijitha Herath also joined the President for the solemn ceremonies.
