An awareness programme on Sri Lanka Customs’ Digital Signature and Paperless Customs Declaration System was held at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce yesterday (18).

The programme focused on digital signatures and the benefits of paperless Customs declarations for the trade sector.

The system is scheduled to come into operation on 1 October, with technical sessions held for importers and business representatives.
