The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide $100 million to improve quality and efficiency in secondary care hospitals across Sri Lanka. 

The funding will support enhancing hospital services, medicine supply chains, health procurement, and financing systems. 

The Cabinet has approved the Ministry of Health’s proposal to implement this project from 2025 to 2030, ensuring transparency throughout.
