Showers or thundershowers are expected in North-Central, Uva, Eastern, Central, Sabaragamuwa provinces, and parts of Kurunegala, Vavuniya, Mullaittivu, and Hambantota after 1:00 PM, with heavy rainfall of up to 75mm likely.

A few showers may also occur in the Western Province and in Galle, Matara, and Puttalam. 

Light showers are expected in sea areas from Colombo to Matara via Galle.

Winds will be westerly to south-westerly at 30–40 kmph, increasing up to 55 kmph at times. Sea areas from Colombo to Hambantota via Galle will be rough, with waves reaching 2.5–3.0 meters.
