Anura Kumara Dissanayake will inaugurate the Thambuttegama Water Supply Project today (10).

The project will provide safe drinking water to residents in Thambuttegama, Thalawa and Galnewa, benefiting 91,810 people through 25,000 new water connections.

Construction of the second phase of the Anuradhapura North Water Supply Project will also begin today with support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
