The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism is closely monitoring the case of Sri Lankan national Anojan Sivarasa, who is facing judicial proceedings in Saudi Arabia.

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Riyadh is following the case and coordinating with the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Colombo, the Ministry stated.

The Government is also engaging with relevant Saudi authorities through diplomatic channels and providing all possible assistance to safeguard Sivarasa’s interests as the proceedings continue.
