Sri Lanka has provided $1 million in humanitarian assistance to Nepal following the Bhote Koshi River floods on 26 August.

Sri Lankan Ambassador Ruwanthi Delpitiya handed over the contribution to Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal in Kathmandu today (9).

The funds will support relief and recovery efforts in flood- and landslide-affected communities.
