The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism has announced the temporary relocation of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Tehran to a new address in Rasht, Iran, citing the current situation in the country.

The relocated embassy can now be contacted at Amini Villa, Kohestan Alley, Imam Khomeini Street, Owlom, Masal, Rasht. For urgent assistance, Sri Lankans can reach the embassy via the following numbers: +98 939 205 5161, +98 991 205 7522, and +98 936 636 0260, or email: slembiran@yahoo.com.

The ministry has advised all Sri Lankans in Iran who require assistance or wish to leave the country to contact the embassy without delay.
