Vindhya Jayasekera has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Designate of the Colombo Stock Exchange, effective 1 January 2025.

She will succeed Rajeeva Bandaranaike, who will retire in 2025 after 11 years in the role. 

Prior to joining the CSE, Jayasekera served as the Chief Investment Officer at NDB Wealth Management, overseeing assets worth over Rs. 380 billion. 

A Fulbright Scholar, she holds a Master’s in Finance from the University of Illinois, graduating with academic honors.
