Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa has vowed to resign from Parliament if allegations of fraud in his Law College examination are proven. 

The accusations, made by Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe, claim Rajapaksa received assistance during the exam, including sitting in a special air-conditioned room with help from two lawyers.

Rajapaksa denied the allegations, calling them lies, and challenged Samarasinghe to investigate the matter and invite the eyewitness to testify. 

Minister Samarasinghe confirmed that the eyewitness, who had previously received threats, is willing to return to Sri Lanka and testify.
