The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) has emerged victorious in the Irakkamam Pradeshiya Sabha, securing 2,838 votes and 4 seats.

The National People’s Power (NPP) followed with 2,003 votes and 3 seats.

The All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) obtained 2 seats, while an independent group and the People’s Alliance (PA) secured one seat each.

This win further strengthens SLMC’s foothold in the Ampara District.
