Anura Kumara Dissanayake held a discussion today (20) on challenges facing Sri Lanka’s prison system and measures to address them.

Officials from relevant ministries and the Department of Prisons presented proposals, including expanding prison facilities and introducing alternative measures.

The President reviewed the recommendations and discussed possible solutions with officials.
