SriLankan Airlines has announced that two of its aircraft, previously grounded due to engine issues, have been restored to service.
The airline also expects another aircraft to rejoin its fleet early next year.
The airline recently acquired an Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft on a lease in June, marking the first wide-body addition in seven years.
This new acquisition has enabled SriLankan Airlines to expand its operations and enhance connectivity.
In a media release, the airline noted it has boosted revenue over the past year by reviewing flight routes and implementing demand-based scheduling.
To serve the growing Indian market, the airline has also improved its flight schedules to cities including Bangalore, Kochi, and Hyderabad.
