The Department of Meteorology has predicted showers tomorrow(12) in the Northern, North-Central, Uva, Eastern, and Central provinces, as well as Hambantota district.

Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are expected in the Eastern, Uva, and Sabaragamuwa provinces.

The public is advised to take precautions against strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
