The National People’s Power (NPP) has won the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council with 4,883 votes, earning 12 seats.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) followed with 2,515 votes, securing 4 seats.

The United National Party (UNP) and an independent group both gained 3 seats, while the Ceylon Workers’ Congress obtained 2 seats.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) managed to win 1 seat.
