Sri Lanka and Thailand have moved to strengthen defence cooperation following talks in Bangkok.

Sri Lanka’s Ambassador Wijayanthi Edirisinghe and Defence Attaché Air Commodore Vajira Jayakody met the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha.

Discussions focused on enhancing Air Force cooperation, training opportunities, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Both sides reaffirmed commitment to further strengthening defence relations.
