Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya emphasized that road safety must be viewed as a personal responsibility, not just a legal duty, during the launch of the ‘Take Care – Let’s Be Safe on the Road’ programme at Royal College, Colombo.

The initiative, under the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ campaign, promotes education over enforcement and aims to reduce road accidents through awareness in schools.

Equipment for school transport safety was distributed to 25 schools across the country.
