The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced yesterday (8) that it will conduct a ‘Water Supply Disconnection Week’ from 13 to 19 July, to recover outstanding water bill arrears.

The programme will be carried out from Colombo 1 to 15, as well as in the Maharagama and Kotte areas. The NWSDB has urged customers with overdue water bills to settle all outstanding payments on or before 13 July to avoid the disconnection of their water supply.

The Board also appealed to consumers to make their payments on time to ensure the uninterrupted service.
