The Department of Railways noted that the ‘Yal Devi’ train service between Colombo Fort and Kankesanthurai (KKS) resumed operations from today (11).

The train will operate from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Return services from Kankesanthurai to Colombo Fort will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The Department stated that the train includes four air-conditioned first-class compartments with seat reservation facilities.
