The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) reported that in 2025, a total of 130 special raids were carried out across the island, resulting in the arrest of 84 public officials.

The majority of those arrested, numbering 30, were from the Police Department. The breakdown of police personnel includes:

- 13 Police Sergeants

- 9 Police Constables

- 4 Sub-Inspectors

- 2 Chief Inspectors

- 1 Inspector of Police

- 1 Police Constable Driver

CIABOC confirmed that 15 politicians were also apprehended during the same period, indicating a significant crackdown on corruption at multiple levels of government.
