The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) and the Romanian Embassy held an awareness program to tackle visa delays for Sri Lankans seeking jobs in Romania.

The event, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on issues like incomplete documentation and visa interview failures.

Accordingly, representatives from 164 employment agencies participated, with plans announced for special workshops to improve applicants’ English proficiency and interview skills.

The SLBFE expressed optimism that these measures will help reduce future visa delays.
