Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and MP Namal Rajapaksa has been produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court following his arrest and remand.

Rajapaksa was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) on 4 September after being questioned for several hours over the controversial Airbus transaction.

He was subsequently remanded and was produced before court today (18).
