Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko will arrive in Sri Lanka on 3 May for a three-day official visit.

He is scheduled to hold talks with Health Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa and Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath.

Discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in the health sector, including pharmaceuticals, medical training, and academic exchanges.

The delegation will also visit the National Hospital of Colombo and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.

The Ministry noted that both sides expect to reach agreements during the visit.
