The 24 defendants facing 23,270 charges in connection with the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks have filed their written submissions before the Colombo High Court Trial-at-Bar.

Following the submissions, the three-member High Court Trial-at-Bar bench announced that the verdict in the case will be delivered on 22 September.

The case was heard before Justices Navaratne Marasinghe, Ramanathan Kannan and Sujeewa Nissanka.

The Attorney General had filed the case against 24 accused, including Naufer Moulavi.
