National Integrity Week commenced today (27) at the Presidential Secretariat under the theme “A Culture of Integrity – A Cleaner Sri Lanka” to promote ethical conduct, accountability and transparency in the public service.
Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake stated that integrity should not only focus on preventing bribery and corruption but also include carrying out duties responsibly and ethically.
He said the initiative aims to strengthen values within the public sector and improve accountability, efficiency and transparency in governance.
