One electricity worker has died and two others have been hospitalised after four workers were reportedly electrocuted while attempting to repair an electricity pole in the Kadawatha-Mankada Road area.

The incident reportedly occurred between 12.00 p.m. and 1.00 p.m. today (2), while the high-voltage power line had not been disconnected.

Two injured workers have been admitted to Ragama Hospital.
