The Sri Lankan team, which will be participating in the “CAVA Beach Volleyball Women's Tournament” which will be held in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh from 28 to 31 December, is scheduled to leave for Bangladesh on 26 December.

The Sri Lankan team includes Chathurika Madhushani from the Army and Deepika Bandara from the Ports Authority, whereas the responsibility of the team leader has been assigned to Madhushani.

Thakshila Gunasinghe of the Ports Authority has been assigned as the coach of the team while Sagarika Gunasinghe will also participate in the tournament as the first international beach volleyball referee representing Sri Lanka.
