Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets increased by 1.6% to USD 6.873 billion in May 2026, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka(CBSL).

The reserves rose from USD 6.766 billion recorded in April.

The Central Bank noted that the figure includes proceeds from the swap arrangement with the People's Bank of China.
