Lahore Qalandars clinched their third Pakistan Super League (PSL) title in 4 years with a nail-biting 6-wicket win over Quetta Gladiators in the season 10 final, thanks to a blistering knock from Sri Lankan star Kusal Janith Perera.

Chasing a daunting target of 202, Lahore reached 204 for 4 in 19.5 overs, with Perera remaining unbeaten on 62 off just 31 balls. His innings featured 5 boundaries and 4 towering sixes, turning the tide in the final overs. Mohammad Naeem laid the foundation with a rapid 46, while Sikandar Raza applied the finishing touches with 22 off just 7 deliveries.

Quetta Gladiators had earlier posted 201 for 9, led by a scintillating 76 off 43 balls from young opener Hasan Nawaz. Support came from Avishka Fernando (29), Dinesh Chandimal (22), and Faheem Ashraf, who smashed 28 off only 8 deliveries in the death overs.

Lahore’s bowling unit was spearheaded by captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, who claimed 3 for 24. Haris Rauf and Salman Mirza took two wickets each, keeping Quetta’s explosive lineup in check.

Despite losing Fakhar Zaman early, Lahore’s chase was stabilised by Naeem and Abdullah Shafique, before Perera's power-hitting decisively swung the match. Quetta’s bowlers struggled to contain the run flow, with Abrar Ahmed (1 for 27) standing out amid otherwise expensive spells.

The victory cements Lahore Qalandars’ dominance in recent PSL seasons, following consecutive title wins in 2022 and 2023.
