Founded on 2March 1874, Wesley College Colombo turns 152 years old today with the official celebrations starting from tomorrow (3). From humble beginnings amidst the ‘Damba’ trees in Dam Street Pettah, Wesley stands tall at Karlsruhe Gardens today providing a silent service to children from all walks of life as the only Methodist Boys school in the island.
