Indian Navy sail training ship INS Tarangini will arrive in Trincomalee from 27 February to 02 March.
The vessel will also visit Colombo from 6 to 9 March, the High Commission of India in Colombo stated.
The visit aims to provide ocean sailing training to Sri Lanka Navy trainee officers during harbour and sea phases.
Commanded by Commander Nitin Gajjar, the ship is on its return passage from Visakhapatnam after participating in International Fleet Review 2026.
During the Trincomalee port call, three officers and 25 trainee officers from the Sri Lanka Navy will embark for training during the voyage to Colombo.
