• Cabinet approval pending, stationary prices to be reduced

The Ministry of Education has announced that the relevant sub-committee’s recommendation has been received to increase the allowances provided for the teachers engaged in answer sheet evaluation activities of the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (O/L) and Grade Five Scholarship Examinations.

Furthermore, the Ministry stated that the recommendations will be forwarded to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval.

Additionally, the Ministry stated that it will intervene to bring down the prices of essential exercise books and other types of stationary.
