MAS recently stepped up to be the clothing sponsor for the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) wheelchair tennis players preparing for the BNP Paribas World Team Cup World Group Event 2024. This mega event is set to happen from 4-12 May in Antalya, Turkey.
A special ceremony took place on 9 March at the SLTA’s Aggreko court to mark this significant partnership. The event saw the presence of MAS Holdings officials, SLTA President Iqbal Bin Issack, General Secretary Pradeep Goonasekera, the players, and the coach.
Among the attendees were the wheelchair tennis players representing the country at the BNP Paribas World Cup Suresh Ranjan Dharmasena, Gamini Dissanayake, and Jayalath Wijesiri, along with their Coach Sankha Atukorale.
From MAS Holdings, Innovation Lead Amjad Azeez and Senior Designer Sashya De Alwis were present to seal the partnership.
MAS Holdings will provide team clothing for the players and captains selected for major international team events in the future. This support from MAS was warmly appreciated by SLTA President Issack, who extended gratitude for their generosity in backing Sri Lankan tennis.
