The Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association has announced plans to limit bus operations from tomorrow(08), citing rising operating costs and the lack of approval for a fare revision.

Association Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne noted that around 25% of private buses have already withdrawn from service voluntarily.

He stated that services could be reduced by up to 50%, with priority given to operating buses during peak morning, school and evening office hours.
