Sri Lanka has recorded 104,094 dengue cases and 79 dengue-related deaths since January, according to the National Dengue Control Unit.

A special mosquito control campaign will be held from 2 to 7 November, targeting 32 high-risk Medical Officer of Health areas.

Authorities have urged the public to remove stagnant water and eliminate mosquito breeding sites to prevent a rise in cases.
