Gold prices in Sri Lanka fell sharply today (15), with rates dropping by Rs. 10,000 compared to yesterday (14) , traders in Colombo’s Pettah market reported.
The price of a 22-carat gold sovereign fell from Rs. 315,500 to Rs. 305,200, while 24-carat gold dropped from Rs. 340,000 to Rs. 330,000, reflecting a notable downturn in the local gold market.
