The Cabinet of Ministers approved a proposal to re-publish the amended Bills of Exchange Ordinance in the Gazette and present it to Parliament, following its lapse due to the dissolution of Parliament in September 2024.

The amendment, initially approved in January and July 2024, aims to update or remove outdated provisions from the Bills of Exchange Ordinance No. 25 of 1927.
