China’s Foreign Minister(FM) Wang Yi is due to arrive in Sri Lanka tonight(11) for a two-day official visit, the Foreign Ministry stated. 

He will hold talks with Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath tomorrow(12) and is also scheduled to meet President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister(PM) Harini Amarasuriya. 

The visit will focus on Sri Lanka’s post-Cyclone Ditwah recovery and Chinese assistance.
