Sri Lanka’s Cabinet has approved a proposal to sign an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sri Lanka Police and the Australian Federal Police to enhance cooperation against transnational organized crime. 

The agreement will focus on tackling terrorism, cybercrime, drug and human trafficking, and improving joint operations, training, and information exchange.
