Sri Lanka’s tourism earnings reached $ 2,659 million in the first ten months of 2025, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
This represents a 4.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Earnings for October 2025 were $ 186.1 million.
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reported a total of 1,972,957 tourist arrivals from January to 12 November 2025.
India, the United Kingdom, and Russia were the leading source markets.
Arrivals between one and 12 November stood at 82,270.
