H.E. Wiebe De Boer, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy visit to Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Ministry of Defence yesterday (17). 

The meeting, held in a warm and constructive environment, focused on enhancing bilateral defence cooperation and exploring new avenues for partnership. 

Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing dialogue and strengthened relations, with the Deputy Ambassador, Iwan Rutjens, also in attendance. 

The discussions highlighted mutual interest in deepening collaboration between Sri Lanka and the Netherlands.
