At the National Youth Conference, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake urged the youth to become genuine, capable, and ethical leaders rather than protectors of political dynasties. 

He emphasized the need to build a new generation ready to responsibly lead Sri Lanka’s future with integrity and social responsibility. 

The President called on youth to first be just individuals before fighting for justice and encouraged them to actively contribute to a transformative youth movement.
