The director of the elders’ home in Anguruwatota, Horana, who was arrested over the fire that broke out at the facility, has been granted bail by the Horana Magistrate’s Court.

The court ordered the suspect’s release on a cash bail of Rs. 100,000 and two surety bails of Rs. 1 million each.

A travel ban was also imposed on the suspect, while the case was fixed for 25 June.
